Tim Worstall: Memo For Paul Krugman; Not Taxing Capital Could Reduce Inequality, Not Increase It


Paul Krugman is complaining about both the Bush tax cuts and the proposals being put forward by Paul Ryan. The problem with his complaint (and I’m aware of the incongruity of my saying this about a Nobel Laureate) is that the economics of taxation might well work entirely the other way around than he’s assuming.
